Hello. This is mapeer staff’s takumi.rex.
This is my first appearance for the mapeer blog.
My best regards in the future.

Well, do you enjoy mapeer?
Today, I will introduce a part of convenient functions of mapeer for map making.

◆About the Marker Icons
There are 162 kinds of marker icons for the point marker by the standard in mapeer.
You can change the icons freely if it is a map that you made or a map you are participating.
You should just click the marker icon you want to change and choose your favorite icon from
the pull-down menu.
That’s all you have to do to change a marker icon.

Hereafter, the number of icons will increase regularly.
And the icons with a lot of requests from the users will be given priority.

◆About the Line Marker and Area Marker
There are not only point markers.
You have the line markers for drawing lines and the circle or the polygon markers for drawing areas.
In addition, you can modify the color, thickness and opacity of those markers.
If you make a mistake while you are drawing, click “Undo” button under the toolbar.
You can take time to draw those markers.

The line marker of mapeer displays the approximate distance.
You can see how long the line is in real time.
It is very convenient, for example, when the route map of the marathon or jogging is made.

Of course, the approximate area is displayed in the polygon marker.
You can examine, for example, the field amplitude that you plan to buy, and the area of the schoolyard at the school.
You can enjoy making maps.

I will keep introducing the convenient function of mapeer for your enjoyment.

Enjoy mapeer!
